Community foundations are tax-exempt public charities created by and for the people of a particular region (in this case Longmont and the St. Vrain Valley).  Over 800 community foundations around the world bring together donors who want to help nonprofits meet community needs.

The Longmont Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation with a Platinum rating for transparency on Guidestar (the world’s largest source of nonprofit information).  Donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
