Danyel Contiliani

Danyel Contiliani is a Senior Researcher at LongPing High-Tech, where they focus on the intersection of molecular biology and agriculture. With extensive experience in gene discovery through -omics approaches and advanced genome engineering, Danyel has developed and applied innovative genetic tools, including CRISPR technologies, to enhance crop traits. Danyel previously worked as a Plant Biotechnology Scientist at Nufarm and as a Research Scholar at the University of Maryland, where they contributed to the advancement of novel CRISPR-based genome engineering tools. They hold a PhD and a master's degree in Genetics from the Universidade de São Paulo, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UNESP.
