David Todd

David Todd has extensive experience in data and analytics, holding various leadership roles throughout their career.

At Lookers plc, they served as the Head of Data and Analytics, responsible for reshaping the data technology environment and driving the overall data strategy and governance across the business.

Prior to that, at Meggitt, David was the Global Head of Data and Analytics, accountable for transforming the data technology landscape and utilizing analysis and analytics to extract value and improve production at a group, divisional, and site level.

David also worked at Travis Perkins plc, where they held multiple roles, including Group Data Director, Head of Group Data Management, and Group IT Programme Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for leading the data strategy, implementing data governance, and overseeing IT solutions across various areas.

Before joining Travis Perkins, David worked at Tesco as an IT Programme Manager and IT Project Manager, leading large-scale development projects and implementing various systems to support product information management and e-commerce capabilities.

Early in their career, David worked at Waitrose as a Project Manager, overseeing the development and implementation of in-store systems, and at John Lewis as a Senior Programmer, contributing to the development of supply chain and in-store IT systems.

David Todd attended Durham University from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a 2:2 degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended Darlington Sixth Form College from 1991 to 1993, but no degree or field of study is specified. In addition to their formal education, David also obtained several certifications, including Scaled Agile Framework Agilist from Scaled Agile Academy in 2013, ITIL V3 Foundation from ISEB in 2010, Green Belt Lean Six Sigma from Tesco Academy in 2009, and PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner from APM Group in 2008.
