Dan Smith

Dan Smith is a focused and obsessive innovator and technologist who loves building and growing incredible teams and solving his clients’ most challenging IT problems. Mr. Smith has been designing and integrating enterprise IT solutions exclusively for the public sector for nearly 20 years, and is primarily focused on cybersecurity, cloud computing and IT operations.

As President, Federal, Dan oversees all customer-facing and external engagements, with the goal of solving complex challenges to drive exponential value.

Prior to LookingGlass, Dan served as the Vice President, Strategic Initiatives at ManTech International Corporation. In that role, Dan Smith led and managed enterprise IT, cyber, mission support and advanced analytics capabilities for ManTech’s Homeland Security and federal civilian customers. Prior to his VP of Strategic Initiatives position, Dan served as vice president and division manager of ManTech’s Cybersecurity Solutions Division, responsible for the company’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Task Orders supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and helping improve the cybersecurity posture across the federal government.
