Daniel Wang

Daniel Wang has extensive work experience in engineering and software development roles. Daniel is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at Lookout, starting in November 2021. Previously, they held the position of Global Software Development Director at Ruckus Wireless from January 2010 to September 2020. In this role, they managed multiple technology teams across the US, India, Taiwan, and China, overseeing a team of 150+ developers. Daniel also played a key role in the development of scalable control and management systems for wireless services with integrated Wi-Fi networks. Before that, they worked as the VP of Engineering at Vesta Corp. from April 2004 to December 2009. During their tenure, they successfully increased productivity and implemented operational efficiency in the engineering department. Daniel also implemented PCI compliance measures and established a practical SDLC process.

Daniel Wang completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at Tunghai University from 1973 to 1977. Daniel then pursued further education, completing their Master of Science degree in Computer Science at the New York Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1983.
