Joanne McMath

Joanne McMath has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Joanne started their career as a Sr. Technical Sales Engineer at Information Builders in 1988, where they focused on providing superior customer service and driving market-leading innovation. After that, they worked as a Sr. Sales Engineer at Informix Software from 1994 to 1997, contributing to the development of intelligent database technology for the Internet of Things.

Joanne then transitioned to Vantive Corporation, where they served as a Sr. Pre-Sales Engineer from 1998 to 1999. In this role, they provided pre-sales engineering support for CRM solutions and played a key role in the successful integration of the newly acquired Field Service application.

Joanne then joined Servigistics (now part of PTC Corporation) as a Regional Sales Manager in 1999, where they managed flagship accounts and helped establish the startup's service parts optimization software on the East coast.

Joanne subsequently worked at BroadVision as a Sr. Sales Engineer from 2000 to 2005. Here, they evangelized e-commerce and portal solutions, mentored sales and SE teams, and co-developed customer use cases for a newly acquired content management system.

Joanne then moved on to Vontu (now part of Symantec) and held the position of Professional Services Manager from 2005 to 2006. In this role, they partnered with sales representatives to promote data loss prevention solutions, influencing customer requirements to differentiate the products.

At Symantec, Joanne took on various roles from 2006 to 2015. Joanne served as the Sr. Manager Training and Enablement at Vontu (a part of Symantec) from 2006 to 2009, where they established the first Vontu training team and program. Later, they became the Sr. Program Manager for the Education Services business unit, leading global, cross-functional teams through post-merger integration efforts. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Sr. Manager Technical Education Services, responsible for managing a global team of Technical Education Services consultants and overseeing curriculum development, instruction delivery, and pre-sales enablement tools.

Since 2016, Joanne has been working at Lookout as the Principal Technical Services Engineer, though no specific end date is provided.
