Karl Plotka has a diverse work experience in the IT field. Karl is currently working at Loomis as the Global Head of I.T Support Services, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Helpdesk Support Manager at Loomis from November 2018 to April 2022. Before joining Loomis, Karl worked at Broxtowe Borough Council as the ICT Team Leader from December 2016 to August 2017, and as a Technical Support Officer from September 2013 to December 2016. Karl also gained experience at East Midlands Ambulance Service as a Technical Support Officer from October 2012 to September 2013. Karl started their career at Gleeds as a 1st Line Service Desk Engineer from May 2011 to October 2012, and also served as a Service Desk Analyst at East Midlands Ambulance Service from November 2008 to May 2011.
Karl Plotka (Statham-Plotka) attended Bramcote College from 2003 to 2005 and Dagfa House School from 1992 to 2003. Karl has obtained various certifications, such as the ITIL V4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2023, the PRINCE2 Foundation Certification in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2022, and the Level 4 Cyber Security Technologist from City & Guilds in 2021, among others.
