Tim Clarke

Tim Clarke has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Tim is currently working as the Vice President of Compliance and Audit at Loomis since July 2021. Prior to this role, Tim spent over a decade at BHP, where they held various positions. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Principal Legacy Team, overseeing the finalization of transactions from BHP's divested Shale oil and gas assets. During this time, they also coordinated and conducted a Joint Venture Audit in the Gulf of Mexico.

Before that, from 2018 to 2019, Tim was the Lead Joint Venture Audit and Revenue Compliance at BHP, supervising a team responsible for coordinating and resolving expenditure and revenue audits. Tim successfully mediated and settled $130M in audit exceptions. From 2015 to 2018, they served as the Joint Venture Audit Principal, where they assisted in responding to a backlog of exceptions and developed an audit resolution plan.

Tim's earlier roles at BHP include Senior Joint Venture Accounting Analyst and Manager Internal Audit, where they oversaw the Joint Interest Billing close process and managed various risk-based audits over financial and operational business processes. Tim also worked as a Specialist Internal Audit, planning and performing risk-based internal audits.

Prior to joining BHP, Tim worked at Grant Thornton LLP as a Manager from 2004 to 2010. Tim provided advisory services such as internal audits, enterprise-wide risk assessments, and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX-404) support. Their responsibilities included risk assessment, process documentation, control testing, and remediation recommendations.

Tim's career began at The GEO Group, Inc., where they worked as a Business Manager at three correctional facilities. Tim played an integral role in starting up a correctional facility in Winton, NC, overseeing procurement.
