Stephen Dorow

Stephen Dorow has extensive work experience in mechanical engineering and investing. Stephen is currently employed as a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer at X, the moonshot factory since November 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Google as a Staff Mechanical Engineer from November 2013 to November 2019.

Stephen also has experience as a private/angel investor, making direct angel investments, investing via syndicates, and investing in venture funds since January 2018.

Before their tenure at Google, Stephen served as the President of Spawn Design Inc from October 2005 to December 2013. Stephen also worked as a Sr Mechanical Engineer at InFocus from October 1998 to October 2005, and as a Product Design Engineer at In Focus from February 1995 to October 1998.

Stephen's career began as a Mechanical Engineer at Hewlett-Packard, where they worked from July 1993 to February 1995.

Stephen Dorow obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design from Stanford University from 1988 to 1993. Prior to their college education, they attended Lubbock High School from 1985 to 1988. In addition to their formal education, Stephen earned a certificate of completion in the TLC Leaders Program from The Leadership Consortium (TLC) in May 2022.
