Desirée Driessen is an experienced User Centered Designer currently working at Loop Earplugs since June 2022. Previously, Desirée served as a Student Consultant for Stryker, Hollister, and Boston Scientific from December 2020 to September 2021, contributing to projects in medical device design. Desirée gained hands-on design experience as an Industrial/Product Design Intern at Design2Gather and Usono, focusing on consumer products and smart ultrasound solutions respectively. Desirée's work included ideation sessions, client interactions, prototyping, and product testing in medical environments. Prior experience includes a multi-faceted role at Albert Heijn, managing team responsibilities and customer assistance from December 2012 to September 2020. Desirée holds a Master of Science in Medical Device Design from the National College of Art & Design and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by an exchange program at Umeå Institute of Design. Desirée has participated in various industry events, such as the Sports Innovation Congress and Medica trade fair.
