Benoît M. began their work experience in 2015 at Monmet Ltd, where they started as an Administrative Assistant. Benoît then progressed through various roles within the company, including Business Development Intern, Business Development Associate, Business Development Manager, and eventually Vice President of Business Operations. During their time at Monmet Ltd, Benoît was involved in inside and outside B2B sales operations, database management, generating qualified leads and prospects, and maintaining and improving customer and supplier relationships. In 2022, Benoît transitioned to Loop Industries as the Director of Business Development. Loop Industries is a technology company focused on sustainable PET plastic and polyester fiber production. Benoît's responsibilities at Loop Industries include promoting and implementing Loop Industries' patented technology to depolymerize waste PET plastic and polyester fiber into base building blocks for the creation of virgin-quality Loop™ branded PET resin suitable for food-grade packaging and polyester fiber.
