Jan D'Alessandro

Jan D'Alessandro has over 15 years of experience in the legal, venture capital, and tech industries. In 2015, Jan became a Venture Partner at Savano Capital Partners, and in 2018, they became Of Counsel at Counsel LLP. Jan was also a Founding Member of the Silicon Valley Blockchain Society (SVBS) in 2018. In 2017, Jan became an Advisor for Chime - Mobile Banking and a Network Advisor for Correlation Ventures. In 2019, Jan took on roles as a Legal Advisor & Head of Equity Pledge & Boardroom Allies Programs for Pledge 1%, and a Venture Partner for Waterman Ventures. In 2021, Jan became an Executive Advisor for Lookout Foundation, and in 2022, they became a Senior Legal Advisor/Acting General Counsel for Loop & Tie. Jan has also been the President & Founder of Blue J Strategies since 2015, where they focus on helping purpose-driven companies scale through impactful partnerships and traditional companies implement ESG and CSR programs.

Jan D'Alessandro obtained an A.B. in English and American Literature from Brown University, followed by a J.D., cum laude in Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law from Georgetown University Law Center. Jan also holds a J.D. certification.
