Yang Chen

Yang Chen is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in product engineering, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Loop. Previously, Yang held the position of Engineering Leader at Chime, where they managed multiple teams focused on key growth initiatives and led high-impact projects in payment features. Before that, Yang was a Lead at Google Pay Japan, overseeing the launch of card tokenization and collaborating with notable Japanese transit companies. Yang also founded Kamo Wallet and worked as a Senior Engineer at both Oracle and Apple, contributing to the development of software tools and advanced algorithms. Yang is currently pursuing studies at the University of Science and Technology of China and Stanford University.
