Bill Fitzpatrick

Bill Fitzpatrick is the current CEO at Loop1. Bill has previously held positions as a sales engineer, owner, general manager, consultant, and data security lead. Fitzpatrick started their career as a software test engineer at Microsoft in 1995. In 2000, they became the network security lead at Broadwing Communications. Bill left Broadwing in 2002 to join Duke Energy via Comsys as the data security lead. In 2003, they began working as a consultant for BindView. The following year, they became the general manager of Rioplex Wireless. In 2007, they started their own business, RGV Helpdesk, which provided IT services and solutions to the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. In 2008, they joined SolarWinds as a sales engineer. Bill left SolarWinds in 2009 and returned to Austin.

Bill Fitzpatrick has a general studies degree from Bellevue College, a HS degree in general studies from North Seattle College, and a certification from Microsoft in Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). Bill also has a certification from SolarWinds in NCM, NPM, NTA, SAM, and DESIGN. Finally, they have a (ISC)² certification in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a NETSCOUT certification in NetScout Certified Expert.
