Shannon Pienaar

Shannon Pienaar is a seasoned technical professional with a strong background in IT consulting, sales engineering, and network operations. Currently serving as a Technical Sales Engineer at Loop1 since September 2022, Shannon previously held the position of Senior IT Consultant at Greenfrog Computing.co.uk, where responsibilities included managing systems and infrastructure for various clients. Shannon's experience also encompasses a role as Senior Network Operations Engineer at Markerstudy Insurance, where Shannon contributed to the establishment of a new Network Operations Centre and led training initiatives for engineers. Earlier career stages included working as a Platform Operations Technician at CSC and as a Metallurgist at Zachrome Electrosteel. Shannon's educational foundation includes an NQF Level 3 qualification in Information Technology and Computer Science from Benoni Technical College.
