Michael Lommertz

Head of Circular Advisory Central Europe at Loopfront

Michael Lommertz has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael is currently serving as the CEO of Zero Emission Studio, a position they started in October 2021. Prior to this, they were appointed as the Head of Circular Advisory Central Europe at Loopfront in December 2021. Michael also worked as a Lecturer at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) starting from October 2020.

From 2016 to 2021, Michael held multiple roles at Bollinger+Grohmann Ingeniører AS. Michael was a Styremedlem/Board Member from March 2017 to October 2021, and also served as the Head of Sustainability (faglig leder bærekraft) from August 2016 to October 2021.

Michael was involved with the NAL (National Association of Norwegian Architects) for several years. From 2017 to 2020, they were the Head of the Competition Committee and a Board Member from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, they served as a Board Member at Arkitektenes Hus AS from July 2015 to December 2017.

Prior to these roles, Michael worked at Statsbygg as a Senior Architect from February 2014 to July 2016. Michael was also associated with the NAL Ecobox (National Association of Norwegian Architects), where they served as an Architect and Manager from August 2010 to December 2012.

Michael'searly career began in 2002 as an Architect at Arkitektkontoret Amundsen, where they remained until June 2010. Throughout their career, Michael has gained extensive experience and expertise in various architectural and sustainability roles.

Michael Lommertz completed their diploma in Architecture at the University of Kassel from 1991 to 1997. Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) at The University of Manchester from 1994 to 1995.
