Iris Mydlach

Iris Mydlach has extensive experience in journalism and editorial roles. Currently serving as the deputy editor in Harburg and deputy sports section head at Hamburger Abendblatt since October 2019, Iris also contributes to Looping Studios since 2017. Prior experience at Hamburger Abendblatt includes a role as section head for Feuilleton during parental leave in 2011, and freelance work from 2009 to 2010 covering various publications. Iris was a member of the sports editorial team at stern magazine from 2006 to 2009 and co-founded Isar05 from 2005 to 2006. Earlier positions include serving as an assistant to the management at the Deutsch-Französischer Kulturrat from 2001 to 2004. Iris Mydlach holds a degree from Deutsche Journalistenschule following studies at Universität des Saarlandes and Université de Metz Paul Verlaine.
