Jim Ponder

Jim Ponder is an experienced professional in the field of asset integrity and pipeline management, currently serving as the Superintendent of Asset Integrity at LOOP LLC since September 2017. Prior to this role, Jim Ponder held the position of Pipeline Integrity Manager at Rose Rock Midstream L.P. - SemGroup from January 2012 to October 2017, overseeing the pipeline integrity program across multiple states. Earlier in their career, Jim Ponder served as Pipeline Integrity Manager at Piedmont Natural Gas, managing the program for natural gas across three states. Jim Ponder's foundational experience includes working as a Project Engineer and Geologist at S&ME, Inc., focusing on landfill design, geotechnical and hydraulic engineering, and environmental remediation. Jim Ponder's educational background includes studies at UTEP, University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and the University of Oklahoma's Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering.
