Samuel Wan

Samuel Wan has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Samuel began their career as a Consultant, Conference Speaker, and Book Author, where they spoke and wrote on the topics of Flash and interactive design. In 2002, they became a Senior Developer at AIU Online. From 2003 to 2007, they worked as a Program Manager for the Developer Tools Division at Microsoft. During this time, they were responsible for product management and interaction design on a UI creation solution and coordinated UI standards across a suite of creative tools. From 2007 to 2013, they worked as a Consultant, assembling contractor teams, coding, and managing projects. From 2013 to 2018, they were a Senior Experience Engineer at Adobe, where they implemented proofs of concept, established user research practices, and helped define a roadmap to turn concepts into product launches. From 2018 to 2022, they were the Head of User Experience, Product Manager, and Product Designer at Biteable, where they recruited and managed a team of senior level product designers and coordinated UX across the company. Currently, they are a Senior Engineer at Loops, where they are the first hire at a YC funded startup and is building things customers are queuing up to subscribe for.

Samuel Wan attended Clinton High School before obtaining a BS in Health Informatics and Information Management from the University of Mississippi Medical Center between 1997 and 2000. Samuel then went on to earn an MS in Human Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan between 2000 and 2002.
