Matthew Grant

Matthew Grant is a partner at Loopstra Nixon and the head of the Securities Group, focusing on various transactional matters including cross-border and domestic public and private M&A, strategic alliances, reorganizations, and spin-offs. They assist clients with capital markets transactions, corporate governance, and securities regulatory matters, representing foreign private equity funds and hedge funds raising capital in Canada. Previously, Matthew held the position of partner at Baker McKenzie and served as Senior Corporate Counsel, Securities at Tim Hortons. Matthew is currently pursuing education at the University of Victoria.
