Ayad Othman has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Ayad is currently serving as the Finance Director at LoopUp since October 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Group Financial Controller at LoopUp from October 2018 to September 2021.

Before joining LoopUp, Ayad worked at Jungle Creations as the Group Head of Finance from February 2018 to September 2018. Ayad was also the Head of Finance at Jungle Creations from June 2017 to February 2018. In this role, they played a crucial role during the first investment round, securing £3 million of VC funding. Ayad created and managed the finance department to support the rapid expansion of Jungle Creations in the UK and US.

Ayad's previous experience includes working at Ofcom as a Senior Finance Analyst/Consolidation Analyst from May 2014 to October 2016. In this role, they consolidated and reported the overall position of Ofcom to the Head of FP&A, FD, and Senior Leadership team. Ayad also provided financial support and guidance as a Finance Business Partner to two Ofcom groups.

Before Ofcom, Ayad worked at The British Museum as a Temp Finance Analyst from August 2013 to March 2014. Ayad started their career at KPMG, where they served as an Assistant Manager in London Corporates Audit from October 2009 to August 2013. At KPMG, Ayad worked with various FTSE listed and private companies in the technology, media, and specialty chemical sectors.

Ayad Othman has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from UCL, which they completed from 2004 to 2007. Ayad then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Advanced Computational Methods for Aeronautics, Flow Management & Fluid Structure Interaction from Imperial College London from 2008 to 2009. In 2009, they attended ICAEW and obtained the ACA qualification. In 2016, they completed the CS50 course in Computer Science through edX.
