Shaun MacLellan

Shaun MacLellan has a diverse work experience. Shaun is currently the CEO and Founder of Diminish (formerly Loot), where they are building a Chrome extension called Loot that provides one-click discounts on SaaS tools. Shaun co-founded deCODE | Hackdecode.io, a curated hackathon platform, and also served as a Founder Fellow at On Deck. Shaun worked as an Advisor for Product & Design at Collabspace from 2019 to 2021 and as a Product Management & Growth Consultant for Startups from 2019 to 2020. Shaun was the CEO and Co-Founder of YouCollab, a platform for content creators, from 2015 to 2019 before it was acquired by Collabspace.co. Earlier in their career, Shaun served as the Director of Product & Operations at deCODE Hackathon, an elite hackathon that connects students with tech companies.

Shaun MacLellan has pursued various educational opportunities throughout their career. Shaun obtained a certification in Data Analytics from the University of Toronto. Shaun also earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. Additionally, they obtained a Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance. It is not clear when they attended these institutions or whether they completed any other formal education. However, it is known that they attended (HTS) Holy Trinity School at some point, but further details about their field of study are not available.
