Gentry Hoffman

Gentry Hoffman, MBA, has over 20 years of experience in sourcing and procurement within the electronics and technology sectors. Currently serving as Sourcing Manager for Electromechanical Systems at Lord Corporation since February 2011, Gentry has previously held roles in strategic sourcing at Sony Ericsson, new product introduction and software release management at Nortel Networks, and various engineering and procurement positions at Square D Company and ABB. Notable achievements include leading global negotiations at Sony Ericsson that resulted in a significant cost reduction and successfully managing critical projects at Nortel Networks to enhance customer satisfaction. Gentry possesses a strong educational background with a Master's in Business Administration from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's in Materials Science and Engineering from the same institution, complemented by additional management training at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and Nortel Leadership Edge.
