Wolfgang Birk is a highly experienced culinary professional currently serving as the Regional Executive Chef for Lore Group in Washington DC since July 2019, following a promotion from the role of Executive Chef, where responsibilities included overseeing culinary operations at Hotel Riggs and Hotel Lyle. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Chef at EPIC, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants from 2013 to May 2017, managing kitchen operations across six outlets, and holding roles such as Executive Corporate Chef at Cooper Avenue and Executive Chef/Food & Beverage Director at Hawks Cay Resort. Wolfgang also has a notable tenure at Gaylord Entertainment, directing operations for five outlets and managing a substantial budget, and achieved significant accolades while serving as Executive Chef at Versace Casa Casuarina, including securing prestigious dining ratings. Wolfgang's culinary education was undertaken at the Restaurant/Hotel Culinary Institute.
