John Dilley

John Dilley is a strategic senior project manager at Lorien, having joined the business in 1999, as a process and utilities engineer. John has developed a remarkable breadth of knowledge and experience in the food and drinks industry, dealing with the manufacture of products such as snacks, morning goods, fresh and cooked meats, vegetable processing, grain, oils, soups and dairy products, carbonated and concentrate drinks, mineral water, and brewing. He has also led projects for pharmaceutical, specialist chemicals production and distribution, and industrial ceramics clients.

John has also developed a great depth of skills within the project process through his activities with new product development, master planning (for single and multiple sites), capital investment programmes, and complete life-cycle engineering project development from feasibility through to implementation and commissioning. He has also been involved in ‘OpEx’ assignments such as workforce training and upskilling, asset care system development, critical spare parts analysis and intelligent preventative maintenance systems.

Prior to joining Lorien, john worked for BOC Gases as a projects engineer.
