Phil Colquhoun

Phil Colquhoun is a chartered engineer and operates as Director of Projects & Buildings. Working for Lorien for over 20 years, he has been responsible for the successful completion of many of the company’s large multi-disciplined projects in this time. He acts as a project manager, programme manager for clients, and he coordinates the Project Management Team within Lorien’s UK centre.

Product and sector experience include bakery, dairy, pharmaceutical, snack foods, convenience foods, bakery products and industrial products. Typically these projects require fast track management techniques to achieve clients’ delivery targets, and involve working alongside current operating plant without disruption to production. Projects completed include multi-disciplined delivery (building and process plant/ manufacturing lines) as well as building-led and process-led CapEx investments.

Phil has also had experience of supply chain and logistics facilities, gained in the baking, snack foods, retail clothing and housewares sectors.

Previous to Lorien, Phil had operational experience of running a FMCG food manufacturing plant, and managed a military engineering team for the British Army.
