Michael King

Michael King has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Michael is currently working as a Senior Data Analyst at Lose It!, where they have the sole responsibility for creating and maintaining workflows for daily ETL processes using Apache Airflow in a Google Cloud Platform environment. Michael collaborates with the Data Team on experiment analysis, data validation, and reporting functions.

Prior to their current role, Michael worked at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, where they held multiple positions. As a Financial Management Analyst in the Engineering Process Control Division, they specialized in identifying inefficiencies and data management needs, implementing solutions such as financial models, information dashboards, and automated data management. Michael also overhauled outdated processes to save time, money, and resources.

Additionally, Michael worked as a Financial Technician in various roles within the Business and Strategic Planning Office, Payroll, and as a Student Trainee.

Michael King earned a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, General from the University of Southern Maine between the years 2010 and 2015. In 2019, they obtained a Nanodegree in Business Analytics from Udacity. Additionally, in April 2018, they received a certification in Intro to Data Analysis from Codecademy.
