Romain Karmann

Romain Karmann has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Romain started their career in 2011 as a vendeur-serveur at Boulangeries PAUL, where they eventually became a Responsable de magasin. Romain was responsible for the operational functioning of the store and played an active role in sales development through staff training and monitoring of commercial operations.

In 2015, Romain worked as an Adjoint de direction at LES 3 BRASSEURS FRANCE, where they oversaw the daily operations of a restaurant, including opening and closing duties, service management, and administrative tasks.

Romain then joined Poulaillon as an Animateur de réseau in 2016, where they ensured the implementation of procedures and standards in the stores they were assigned to. Romain also participated in events such as braderies and exhibitions.

In 2016, Romain worked as a Manager Service at McDonald's, where they played a crucial role in the reopening of a restaurant in a train station. Romain was responsible for the smooth transition of the McDonald's concept and the adherence to service standards. Romain also managed the McCafé and customer dining areas.

Romain's career took a different turn in 2017 when they joined CYLANDE as a Développeur Web. During their internship, they migrated the MantisBugTracker application from PHP5 to PHP7, customized the application according to user requirements, and edited incompatible plugins.

In 2018, Romain co-founded Lota.cloud, a French Cloud expense management solution. As a Co-Founder, they contributed to market research, participated in the first round of fundraising, and built the technical team. Romain then held positions as a Frontend Developer, Lead Developer, and Chief Technology Officer at Lota.cloud, where they were responsible for the development, delivery, and deployment of the platform's features and managed a team of developers.

From 2018 to 2018, Romain also worked as a Formateur at Ipac Bachelor Factory, where they trained students in relevant skills.

In 2020, they briefly worked as a Consultant marketing numérique at Tout Chaud.
