Simon Hay

Simon Hay is the Executive Chairman of Leo Lithium Ltd., where they oversee the company's development of the Goulamina Lithium Project, one of the world's top hardrock lithium deposits. Previously, as Managing Director and CEO of Leo, Simon led the successful development and commissioning of key projects, including a notable sale of interests for US$343 million. Simon also served as CEO of Galaxy Resources, facilitating its merger with Orocobre to create a top global lithium producer. With extensive experience across major companies like Iluka Resources and BHP Billiton, Simon has played pivotal roles in operations, sales, and resource development. They hold multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Management from AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
