The history of Louis Allis goes back more than 100 years where it all started in an old shoe factory at 710 Hanover Street in Milwaukee. It was here that Mr. Allis started producing DC electric motors for the horseless carriage industry. Over time, Louis Allis made its name in the specialty motor business. Throughout the last century, Louis Allis has produced over two million specialty motors of all sizes. The name Louis Allis represents quality and reliability worldwide. Designing and manufacturing motors to perform a specific duty within today’s industry has always been Louis Allis’ strength.
