Anthony Tornatore

Anthony Tornatore has a wide range of work experience in the insurance industry. Anthony most recently worked at Lovys as the Head of Underwriting since March 2021. Prior to that, they were Vice President of Insurance Product Management at Kin Insurance from 2019 to February 2021. Before joining Kin Insurance, they held the position of Director of Insurance Product Management at the same company from March 2018 to October 2018.

Earlier in their career, Tornatore worked at Orchid Insurance Underwriters as a Product Solutions Consultant from September 2017 to March 2018. Anthony reported directly to the CIO and managed a small team of business analysts. Anthony played a key role in operationalizing renewals on a new IT platform and optimizing agent new business entry.

From 2015 to 2017, Tornatore worked at Velocity Risk Underwriters as a Senior Product Manager. Anthony played an instrumental role in building a Personal Lines property program from scratch, including designing folder structures, file naming conventions, and standard templates. Anthony was also responsible for developing and filing the program's rates, rules, and forms.

Before that, Tornatore worked at Cabrillo Coastal General Insurance Agency as a Senior Product Manager and Product Manager from 2014 to 2015. Anthony designed and maintained pricing structures and rates for the rollout of a personal lines surplus lines program and directly reported to the President of the E&S division.

Tornatore began their career at Kemper Corporation, where they held various positions from 2010 to 2013. Anthony started as an Assistant Product Analyst and progressively moved up to become a Product Analyst, Senior Product Analyst, and eventually a Product Consultant. In these roles, they focused on generating profitable growth for the property lines of business by analyzing results, executing profit improvement initiatives, and actively communicating with underwriting, state management, and marketing departments.

In 2009, Tornatore worked as a Product Analyst at Cabrillo Coastal General Insurance Agency, Inc.

Anthony Tornatore attended Clearwater High School from 2002 to 2006, but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they attended the University of Florida and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained an Insurance Producer: Personal Lines, P&C certification from the Illinois Department of Insurance in May 2019. Anthony also obtained two non-resident licenses in the field of insurance from the Florida Department of Financial Services: the 07-20 Non-resident All Lines Adjuster License in June 2020, and the 9-20 Non-resident General Lines P&C License in May 2019.
