John Berkowitz is an experienced executive in the real estate and technology sectors, currently serving as the President of Real Estate at Lower since May 2025 and as the Chief Executive Officer of Movoto, a leading residential real estate search website, which was sold to Lower Mortgage in the same month. John has held various board member positions, including at Houseful, CASA of Travis County, Realocity, and RealWork. Prior to his current roles, John founded and served as CEO of OJO, overseeing the company's sale alongside Movoto in May 2025. Additionally, John co-founded Yodle, which was sold for $350 million in 2016, and served as a board member at Nest Wealth Asset Management until its successful sale in January 2024. John holds a BA in International Business from The George Washington University School of Business, completed in 2005.
