Mike Baynes

Mike Baynes is a seasoned financial professional with extensive leadership experience in the banking and financial services industry. As a Co-Founder of Lower since September 2013, Mike has played a pivotal role in shaping the company's direction. Prior to Lower, Mike served as Chief Executive Officer at Homeside Financial from September 2013 to November 2021. Earlier in the career, Mike held the position of Group Vice President at American Bank from January 2007 to September 2013, and District Manager at Wells Fargo from January 1998 to December 2006, overseeing a multi-branch district for Wells Fargo Financial. Mike Baynes holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Mount Saint Mary College and an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
