Melony Winters

Melony Winters has a diverse professional background that spans multiple roles and industries. Beginning as a Health and Physical Education Teacher at North Henderson High School from August 1995 to July 2002, Melony also served on the School Improvement Team and coached various sports. Transitioning to the corporate sector, Melony worked as a District Sales Manager for Hibbett Sports from October 2004 to August 2018, overseeing 13-14 stores in North and South Carolina. Subsequent roles included Project Manager at Grove Manor Flooring from July 2021 to March 2023, General Manager at World Market from August 2018 to July 2021, and currently serving as Asset Protection Safety Manager and Department Supervisor at Lowe's Companies, Inc. since February 2025. Melony holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Mars Hill College, complemented by educational experiences at the University of North Carolina at Asheville and Edneyville High School.
