Lowewood Museum tells the history of the Borough of Broxbourne, capturing the unique stories of those who have lived and worked there.

Housed in a beautiful Georgian building dating from the 1750s, the collection includes geology, archaeology, social history, costume, photography and art. Highlights include our impressive Bengal Tiger, which was formerly on display at Cedars Park, a fine collection of paintings by James Ward, the Royal Academy artist who lived in Cheshunt, First World War diaries, and the story of James Pulham & Son, one of the greatest landscape design firms of the Victorian age.

Along with great exhibitions, the Museum hosts a number of special events during the year, as well as family activities, specialist study days, community events and much more.
