Cameron Hatch has worked in a variety of roles since 2012. Cameron began as a Math and Physics Tutor at the University of New Mexico Center for Academic Program Support in 2012, earning a Level III Tutor Certification from the College Reading and Learning Association. Cameron then worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of New Mexico from 2014 to 2016, teaching entry-level math courses including college algebra and business calculus. In 2016, they began working as a Mathematics Tutor for Varsity Tutors and then as an Actuarial Intern for Korn Ferry Hay Group in 2017. Cameron also worked as an Actuarial Analyst for Willis Towers Watson in 2017, assisting in the valuation of multi-billion dollar pension plans and completing data analysis and reconciliation of pension plan participants and plan assets. In 2018, they worked as a Full Stack Developer for Academic Projects, developing an app that lets users make predictions about who will go home each week on the Bachelorette, an app that matches users with other people who have similar tastes in movies, and a learning app that uses spaced repetition to allow users to learn Spanish quickly. Since 2019, they have been a Software Engineer and Support Engineer for Loxo.
Cameron Hatch attended The University of New Mexico from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics. Cameron then returned to The University of New Mexico from 2014 to 2016 to obtain a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mathematics. In 2018, they attended Thinkful for an Engineering Immersion program.
