Hamish Clark has extensive work experience in the field of communications and journalism. Hamish began their career at TVNZ in 1997, holding various reporter and producer roles, including Senior Journalist and Line Up Producer. Hamish then moved to MediaWorks NZ in 2006, where they served as the TV3 Newshub South Island Bureau Chief and Senior Broadcast Reporter. In 2020, Clark joined New Zealand Media & Entertainment (NZME) as the Head of News for the South Island, responsible for leading the Christchurch and South Island NZ Herald newsroom. Currently, they work as the Head of Communications and Engagement at Lyttelton Port Company, leading their communications team and serving as a communications partner for the Chief Executive and Board.
