LR Construction Technologies Ltd. (LRCT) is a Hong Kong based technology company specializing in providing full-stack IoT solutions to the construction industry.

The story began in 2001. Our founder was in the consultant team responsible for analyzing the cause of the temporary support failure in demolition, which led to the death of six construction workers in Yau Tong Sze Sha Street. It is heartbreaking to know that people lost their lives at work while preemptive measures could have been taken. In 2012, when IoT technology became more mature, a group of engineers who wanted to use their professional knowledge to enhance site safety and prevent tragedies from happening founded LRCT.

Today, LRCT is one of the leading IoT technology companies in HK, capable of providing one-stop-shop design and development services for industry parties who are looking for innovative IoT products for smart construction. Our engineers are from multi-disciplines with hardware and mechanical design, firmware programming, and software development expertise. 

We design and build down-to-earth IoT devices that are practical and reliable with end users’ experience considered. Our latest product is “Tamago,” a falsework safety monitoring device with a patent granted. It is the first-ever IoT-enabled device that can wirelessly monitor the load and inclination of a temporary support frame in real-time. We also provide standard construction-use monitoring devices such as tilt and underground water level sensors. All the devices are connected to LRCT’s cloud platform. 

On top of these, we research, design, and customize IoT devices for clients if the solutions they are looking for are unavailable in the market. We challenge ourselves and push the boundary to provide the best-in-class services. Internally, we encourage the growth of the team and welcome new ideas.
