Susannah Ray

Susannah Ray is an accomplished fine art and documentary photographer with extensive experience in education and curatorial roles. Currently serving on the faculty at the International Center of Photography since June 2021, Susannah teaches the History of Photography and has also held the position of Senior Coordinator of Continuing Education Content and Curriculum. As the owner of Susannah Ray Photography since July 1997, photographic series focus on urban water use and reframe landscape as inclusive spaces, displayed in notable exhibitions. Additionally, Susannah contributed as a Guest Curator for the Hofstra University Museum of Art from November 2021 to December 2022 and was an Adjunct Associate Professor at Hofstra University from 2006 to 2021, teaching a comprehensive range of photography courses. Susannah holds an MFA from the School of Visual Arts and a BA from Princeton University.
