Allan West is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and application management. Currently serving as the Microsoft Platform Lead at LRQA since September 2021, Allan oversees the implementation and support of Azure, M365, and Dynamics platforms, ensuring alignment with security and architecture requirements. Prior to this, Allan held the position of Applications Lead (Collaboration) at Lloyd's Register, where responsibility included managing collaboration systems for thousands of users globally. With a background also encompassing roles as Business Applications and Development Manager and Senior Web/Application Developer at LR Senergy, as well as significant early experience at Orion Group and The Disney Store, Allan combines technical expertise with strong leadership and strategic planning skills, supported by a Bachelor of Science in Computing from Robert Gordon University.
