Andrew Stephenson

Andrew Stephenson is a seasoned quality professional with extensive experience in quality auditing and management. Currently serving as a Quality Auditor at LRQA since November 2021, Andrew previously held the position of Construction Products Regulations Management System Assessor at Lloyd's Register Foundation from November 2018 to November 2021. Andrew's earlier career includes a significant tenure at Mech-Tool Engineering Ltd, where roles included Quality Assurance Manager, with responsibilities such as leading quality audits and managing various quality control processes, and Plater/Fabricator after completing an apprenticeship in fabrication and welding. Prior experience also includes working as a Mechanical Fitter at Caterpillar Articulated Trucks. Andrew holds a BTEC NC and HNC in Mechanical Engineering from South Tyneside College, a QMS Auditor/Lead Auditor qualification from LRQA, and a Level 5 Diploma/NVQ in Leadership & Management from Bishop Auckland College.
