José Lopes

José Lopes is a Principal Security Consultant at LRQA, specializing in mobile, web, and desktop application pentesting, security by design, and risk assessment. Prior to this, they held positions as a Lead Security Consultant at Nettitude Group and a Principal Security Consultant at Belphegor Industries Ltd. José began their career as a Junior Researcher at LASIGE, where they engaged in independent and collaborative research within European funded projects. They obtained a Master's degree in Information Security from the Universidade de Lisboa and a Licentiate in Informatics Engineering from the Universidade do Minho. José's extensive experience includes delivering security assessments and developing training programs while fostering strong client relationships.
