Mathias Matschke

Mathias Matschke currently serves as the General Manager/Managing Director for the DACH region at LRQA since January 2022, with expertise in various ISO standards and a focus on assurance in sectors such as renewable energy and cyber security. Previously, Mathias held the position of Managing Director at Hermes Hansecontrol Group from February 2018 to December 2021, overseeing a worldwide P&L of €25M and enhancing service delivery through KPI metric implementations. Prior roles at Bureau Veritas included Head of Testing Operations Germany and Director of Program Service Delivery, where Mathias maximized P&L and successfully restructured testing and audits operations across Europe and Asia. Mathias also served as General Manager at KEMA Quality Shanghai, managing operations and providing supply chain risk management solutions. Academic credentials include a degree from the University of Hamburg earned between 1990 and 1994.
