Peter Stamps

Peter Stamps is an accomplished quality assurance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. As Lead Assessor at LRQA since July 2020, Peter conducts annual Quality System assessments for notable associations and performs ISO 9001:2015 QMS assessments as needed. Concurrently, as a Quality Assurance Auditor for STI/SPFA, inspections are carried out to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards. Peter also operates Eagle Transmission and Auto Repair in Denton, TX, and has held significant positions like National Quality Assurance Manager at Thompson Pipe Group and various managerial roles at Cargill. Peter's military background includes serving as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve, retiring as CAPT, with notable leadership roles. Education includes a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, an MBA in Global Management from the University of Phoenix, and further qualifications from the Naval Postgraduate School and U.S. Naval War College.
