Robert Sluijter

Robert Sluijter has extensive work experience in finance and compliance roles. Robert is currently the Director of Finance Operations at LRQA, where they manage outsourced shared services, statutory compliance, and payroll functions across multiple countries. Prior to this, they worked at Lloyd's Register, where they held various positions including Head of Global Statutory Compliance, Financial Director for the Americas, Area Financial Controller for North Europe, and Area Financial Controller for Central & Eastern Europe. Before joining Lloyd's Register, Robert worked at Staples, where they held roles such as FP&A Director and Financial Director for Spain. Robert started their career at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate Auditor. Throughout their career, Robert has demonstrated strong leadership and expertise in finance, control, and compliance across international markets.

Robert Sluijter has a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Groningen, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. In 1999, they also attended the University of Groningen to pursue a Register Accountant (RA) degree, completing it in 2000. Furthermore, in 1999, they briefly studied International Business at SKEMA Business School. Later, in 2003, Robert obtained a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification from the IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors during their studies.
