Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited (LS Capital) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited. Laxmi Sunrise Bank is a Category ‘A’ Commercial Bank licensed by the Nepal Rastra Bank, the Central Bank of Nepal. LS Capital has obtained a license from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON-apex regulator of capital market in Nepal) to be engaged in investment banking, assets management and advisory activities such as Issuance of Initial Public Offering (IPO), Underwriting of Securities, Portfolio Management Services, Mutual Fund, Registrar to Share, Corporate Advisory Services, etc.

The company has an operational history of more than 14 years. LS Capital has been providing Portfolio Management Services since the inception of the company and is one of the first few companies offering such services in Nepal. Further, LS Capital has been managing funds at the capacity of Fund Manager of two close-ended mutual fund schemes, sponsored by our parent company Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited. LS Capital and its Mutual Fund schemes- Laxmi Equity Fund and Laxmi Unnati Kosh have been approved by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) to act as Qualified Institutional Investors (QII) for IPOs to be issued through the book-building method.

LS Capital had successfully managed its first mutual fund scheme Laxmi Value Fund-I, a close-ended-5-year tenure scheme, which matured on March 24, 2020 and was able to gain widespread appreciation from the investors of Nepal. Further, the company has successfully launched its first open-ended mutual fund scheme and is planning to launch another close-ended mutual fund scheme in the near future after getting approval from the regulator, SEBON.
