John King

Mr. King has executive management responsibility for LS Power’s Western business activities and renewable business efforts, including solar power for which the firm has over 300 MW of solar generation in operation. Previously at LS Power, Mr. King was responsible for the firm’s portfolio of operating power plants including other generation types. Mr. King joined LS Power in 2005. Prior to joining LS Power, Mr. King was a Senior Vice President of Calpine Corporation. From 1994 to 2005, Mr. King held various positions with Calpine, including Head of International Business, and was in charge of business development in the Western United States.

Mr. King holds a B.S.C. from Santa Clara University and an M.B.A. from California State University, Hayward.
