Kara Johnson

Kara Johnson is an accomplished accounting professional with over 13 years of experience in various roles within the energy sector. Currently serving as Accounting Manager, Regulatory at LS Power since January 2020, Kara previously held the position of Accounting Supervisor, Regulatory. Prior to LS Power, Kara worked at Cross Texas Transmission, LLC, progressing from Financial Reporting Accountant to Senior Financial Reporting Accountant between April 2013 and January 2020. Kara's career began at ERCOT, where responsibilities included the role of Accountant from May 2010 to April 2013. Kara holds both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, both obtained from Baylor University between 2005 and 2009.
