Bryan Beerman is passionate about using design to create a unique sense of place and cultural vibrancy within a city. Bryan, a graduate of Ball State University with both a Bachelor of Science (2013) and Master of Architecture (2015), joined LS3P in 2015. He works extensively in the civic, education, and commercial mixed-use market sectors, with an emphasis on master planning development and community-centered projects. An advocate of improving urban environments through walkability, and a thriving public realm, Bryan believes architecture plays as an integral role in strengthening a place’s vitality and economy. He brings these concepts to life through charrettes, sketching, and hand-rendering, which help to engage clients in authentic discussion about design and community.
Outside of the office, Bryan is actively engaged in both professional and community outreach. He relocated to LS3P’s Greenville, SC office from Charleston; his community engagement activities include service on the Board of Directors for AIA Charleston and as Director of Charleston’s Young Architects Forum. He represented architects in the Charleston Resilience Network, and was part of the 2016/2017 AIA SC Leadership Development Academy. He has also held numerous leadership positions at Grace Lutheran Church in Summerville, SC, including Elder, Strategic Planning and Building Committee, Director of Public Relations, Stephen Minister, Deacon, and choir member. Bryan is also currently serving as a Professional Advisory Board Member for Ball State University’s Department of Architecture.
