Josiah Evans has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Josiah currently holds the position of Vice President for Education and Assessment at the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), a role they have been in since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Assessment Sciences at LSAC starting from November 2018. Before joining LSAC, Josiah worked as the Assistant Director of Social Science Research from October 2012 to October 2018. Josiah also held the position of Research Scientist from September 2003 to October 2012 and Research Associate from August 2003 to June 2010, both at LSAC.
Josiah'searlier work experience includes being an Assistant Psychometrician at the AICPA from June 1999 to September 2003. Josiah also worked as a Research Assistant at Mount Sinai School of Medicine from June 1998 to June 1999, and as an Adjunct Researcher (contract) at Baruch College from August 1997 to May 1998. Josiah began their career as a Research Assistant at Gay Men's Health Crisis from October 1996 to July 1997.
Josiah Evans completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Presbyterian College from 1990 to 1994. Josiah then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Social-Personality Psychology from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, studying from 1996 to 2000. Josiah continued their academic journey at Rutgers University, where they earned their Ph.D. in Educational Psychology, specializing in this field from 2000 to 2009.
